Ahh, I understand what you meant now.

I suppose you could try it with Rails 1.0, but it may or may not work. I never tested the examples or libraries in the article with anything less than 1.1.1.

Hi Dan, thanks for the feedback. Hm, maybe i’m not very clear. Think to replace the “article itself is a little old” with “Article is better to be tryed with Rails 1.0”. Is it better like that?

Hi Stoyan,

I just wanted to get a bit more feedback from you on the REST on Rails article I wrote. In what way was the article old, or were you referring to the Rails 1.1 article with that sentence?

I must admit I do like the idea of routing based on the method names, but I actually tried something very similar back in November. After several months of experimentation, I ended up moving away from it though. That was a really hard thing to do, since I wanted to keep things aligned with all the rails conventions. In retrospect the one or two small changes we made resulted in much a better end result—we’d be loosing too much ground with the other approach.
